Roger Ver releases video without permission on a Bitcoin (BTC) & Bitcoin Cash debate

Among the largest supporters of Bitcoin  Cash (BCH),, Roger Ver submitted a video without permission on an argument with Bitcoin Core & blockstream supporters. Throughout the Huobi Carnival in Korea, two members from the Bitcoin Core community were assailed by Ver and also his cam team to surprise interview them.

They were speaking about censorship, free speech and various other related subjects at the time when Ver approached them. Ver shot some unplanned inquiries at Ruben Somsen. Ver asked him if it is right to censor outside Bitcoin area members. Answering that, Somsen claimed that Bitcoin Money and also Bitcoin Core communities viewpoints are conflictual. Therefore, he believes that moderation is required in such groups. Nonetheless, Somsen likewise points out that moderation does not mean its against freedom of expression.

He added, “I think it’s good if we have several areas that allow for different opinions and various sights in different places due to the fact that Bitcoin cash money remaining in conflicts with that of individuals that favor the Bitcoin Core … So if you put those areas together, that’s sort of dreadful right? There’s going to be a great deal of fighting and also there seem to be some fundamental arguments that to me appears like it’s best you just split them up and also have r/BTC, r/Bitcoin and I think that’s a wonderful service.”
After a hefty dispute on the subject, Ver took place to talk about the initial Bitcoin whitepaper compiled by Satoshi Nakamoto. Describing which Ver asked if the whitepaper entitled ‘a peer-to-peer electronic cash system’ represents Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash.

Somsen answered it stating that it is unnecessary and also moreover, he said that the description of the whitepaper is practically impossible or at least open to question, therefore, to diverge from the actual phrasings of the whitepaper makes sense.

With no warmed disagreement, conversations went on for quite a long time. In the end, Somsen asked for Ver to show him the video prior to posting it but he directly denied it. As a matter of fact, Ver did publish the video clip online.
